AAC stands for Autoclaved Aerated Concrete — lightweight, precast building blocks used for wall construction in residential, commercial and industrial projects. The mixture (cement, fly-ash/sand, lime, gypsum, aluminium powder, water) is cured in an autoclave (high-pressure steam chamber) which gives the blocks their strength and lightweight properties.
